Who is Representative

Robyn Gabel?

Appearances are deceiving. This diminutive Evanston grandmother is the toughest fighter we could ever hope to represent us in the Illinois House.

From her very first days in Springfield, Robyn has been on the front line in defense of women’s rights, child safety and education, workers’ rights and working families, and the most marginalized, most vulnerable of our neighbors.

She is a tireless campaigner against gun violence and has received a 93% disapproval rating from the NRA.

A champion for us against the Medical Industry and Big Pharma for more affordable healthcare and prescription drugs.

Robyn is a strong proponent of greater state investment in career and technical education to give our citizens the 21st skills needed for higher-paying jobs, greater financial security and a higher standard of living.

Not to be overlooked is Robyn’s defense of our little corner of planet earth. She’s a staunch supporter for environmental and clean energy causes, including efforts to promote wind, solar and other renewable energy.

Her legislative achievements on behalf of our District and State has won recognition from the Illinois Environmental Council, March of Dimes, Midwest Asian Health Association, the ARC of Illinois, Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force and the Illinois Public Health Association, Giffords PAC, Moms Demand Action and others.
